About Terrie Spieker
Mrs. Terrie Spieker has devoted all aspects of her life to education, from her high-achieving college career to her volunteer and public school teaching experience.
Terrie Spieker served as a Littleton, Colorado, public school teacher for seven years, providing her students with an individualistic learning environment. In her teaching, Terrie Spieker holds to the philosophy that education is best received through an accommodating instructor. Using a variety of testing methods, Terrie Spieker identifies her students’ learning capabilities and adapts her teaching style to maximize their progress.
Terrie Spieker began teaching after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Metropolitan State College of Denver with a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science. While in school, she focused on Education and Special Education and placed on the President’s Honor Roll for three consecutive years with a 3.95 GPA. Currently, Terrie Spieker is continuing her education at the University of Colorado Denver. She expects to earn her Master’s degree in Language and Literacy in May 2010.
When she is not studying, Terrie Spieker devotes her free time to teaching, acting as a volunteer tutor for underprivileged youth through the Light of the World Catholic Church. She also delivers food to homeless shelters, such as Samaritan House, and donates regularly to the American Heart Association and Disabled American Veterans.
